Most teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 want to become more independent. At this time, teens begin to earn their first money because they need and dream of many things, like new phone, laptop or own car.
When I was a teen I made my money online and l had part-time jobs. The money I earned helped me buy a lot of the things that I wanted while I was growing up (including a car). Having money early on also taught me a lot of valuable personal finance skills,like the importance of saving.
In this post, I'm going to show some ways to make money for teenagers which I used.
So, whether you're 13-18, or even 19 years old, you can take advantage of the money-making methods below.
Write electronic texts or essays for students
It is good startup and, I think, it is one of the best ways to earn money for clever students. If you are good at writing essays and articles, you can provide your services to other students. You can write very important essays and texts for students who find it difficult. For this they will pay great money. There were my first money that I earned myself and I didn't even imagine that I would make money on it regularly.
Over time, the whole school found out about it and I made a good profit, but later the teachers found out about my business and I had to stop it, but not completely.
Part-time jobs
There were also my first attempts to make great money. I went to night shifts in shops and warehouses and did a lot of physical work. Then I began getting my first great money, but after this work I was very tired. It required a lot of energy, strength and free time, which was only at night. Also, I worked in a restaurant and it was great because I got paid an hourly wage + tips. One more job — deliver food. It is classic teenager job. You can use a bicycle for easier work.
Work in the Internet
One of the best methods to make money for teens. There are a lot of ways to earn money in the Internet. Some of them are listed below:
- Translation, rewriting and copywriting of texts. You can rewrite or edit texts of diversified types, translate them from one language to another or write your own articles for different sites. It will not take you much time and you can do it anytime and anywhere: at home after lessons, during a break at school or in a cafe. You can earn great money for it.
- Create a separate email to sign up to survey sites (I use a separate Gmail account), subscribe to some pages on social networks, like Facebook or Instagram. It is so easy work, but the salary is not high.
- Download different mobile apps or games from Play Market or App Store into your phone and rate five stars. It is also not a high-paying job.
Photo processing and photo-sessions
I will call it business. It’s joint business with my girlfriend. At the moment, this is my main way of earning for me. We have created a page on Instagram where all our works and services that we can provide are presented. I can edit photos in Photoshop well and a lot of people and even small companies turn to us for services. Also, I with my girlfriend arrange photo-sessions for different cases and topics to order. There are weddings, birthdays, festivals and another events.
It is an energy-intensive work, but high-paying job for teenagers. This way many teenagers can earn money.
Also, it will give you important for life qualities such as creativity.
There are all successful ways which I have earned money.
